This fund supports scholarships for serving members of any branch of the armed forces of the United States or Canada, including National Guard or reserve units, any honorably discharged veteran of such service, and any spouse or child of any such person, with priority given to any applicant who is an actively serving member or a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree at Excelsior University that will be the first of that level of undergraduate degree earned by the applicant.
