Beginning January 1, 2024, the Cosmetology Section licensure fees will be reduced for one licensure cycle (a cycle is two years). The fee decrease will be reflected on renewal notices, cosmetology forms, and the online renewal portal. This is a temporary fee reduction, to comply with Act 114 of 2023. Beginning January 1, 2026, the cosmetology licensure renewal fee amount will be restored. This temporary licensure renewal fee reduction is limited to licensure fees only and does not include any fines or violations.
