Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) ; DACA, an executive memo issued on June 15, 2012 offers undocumented persons under the age of 31, meeting specific criteria, deferred action of deportation. ; DACA does not provide an individual with lawful status. ; Through the Department of Homeland Security, DACA recipients are granted the right to an Illinois driver’s license, a Social Security Number and a work permit. ; DACA students are eligible for paid internships and student employment
Apply for admission to EWU by Feb. 1 (new freshmen and transfers). ; File a 2024-2025 WASFAlisting EWU as a school choice by June 1, 2024. ; Submit a residency affidavit form (1079 form) or proof of DACA status (I-797) to the EWU Records and Registration Office by June 1, 2024. ; Meet family income state aid eligibility requirements.
Applications accepted 1 November to 1 March annually. ; Your donations help provide opportunities to future geophysicists. ; Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the SEG offers a range of different scholarship opportunities to students all over the globe. ; Scholarships range from US$500 to US$10,000 per academic year; average awards are approximately US$3,200. The number of scholarships available depends chiefly upon the number of sponsors and the amounts they contribute. SEG scholarships have been awarded to students all over the world.

Golden Door Scholars was founded in 2013 with the goal of promoting economic mobility for undocumented students. We have impacted 473 undocumented students by partnering with schools to cover tuition, room, and board for a four-year degree.
