Visiting medical students registered for virtual electives are not permitted to enter School of Medicine research or clinical facilities. A new $1 billion gift from Bloomberg Philanthropies will allow the majority of medical students to attend Johns Hopkins for free. Beginning in the fall of 2024, Johns Hopkins will offer medical students full cost-of-attendance financial aid packages (including tuition, living expenses and fees) for families earning less than $175,000.
