Two months after being discovered in a box at a Goodwill store in the town of Lockport, a World War II era Purple Heart medal has been returned to the family of a U.S. soldier killed in battle. An Goodwill employee found the medal, which is given to service members who are injured or killed in battle, while unpacking a box full of donations in June. It bore the name Pvt. James E.
