You must be a Registered Diagnostic Sonographer through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Abdomen and OB/GYN. Additional coursework is required for individuals with only one of the credentials. You must be employed in and have access to a full-service, properly equipped laboratory to complete the clinical didactic courses and be eligible for clinical externship credit. Instructor positions do not qualify. You must meet the Oregon Tech admissions criteria. Special admissions arrangements are also available.
