UNLV has hired Sigrid Ladores as the new dean of the university's School of Nursing, effective Sept. 1. Students at Hollingsworth Elementary School near downtown Las Vegas had a special day on campus on Friday. ; Students from kindergarten through fifth grade were able to dress in costume for their dream jobs for career day. ; They were able to go around and meet community members from several different careers including law enforcement, firefighting, nursing, writing, the military, and many more. ; Students also met with News 3 reporter Tiffany Lane and creative services producer Shirelle Moore who taught kids about the ins and outs of the news world.
