A Staten Island court on Wednesday dismissed the charges against a contractor accused of forging his sister’s name on their dead father’s life insurance policy. ; Dominick Pedulla, 41, was arrested last January on insurance fraud and other charges. Cops had accused Pedulla of trying to fleece his sister out of $100,000 of the $250,000 policy. ; “It was based on a lie,” Pedulla said after the charges were dismissed. ; His lawyer, Patrick Brackley, said he’s hoping to move on with his life and his contracting business.
