Class Name, Classification, Credit, Description ; Visual Storytelling Foundation, C, 3, In this class, students experience in learning basic filmmaking techniques by taking various approaches with different mentors. The students are expected to learn the foundation of universal film language and ways on visualizing ideas into their own creative expressions. ; The History of The Cinematic Art(1), C, 3, In this class, the overall history of filmmaking in movies, documentaries and animation is covered. The class also provides extensive understanding of social and cultural backgrounds of the filmmaking process. This course is followed by ‘The History of The Cinematic Art (2)’. ; Trans Media Foundation, C, 3, In this class, students study the features of image media which creates space and time on the screen directly by experiencing basic video making technique such as flip book, pixelation, and videotaping, etc. Through this, they learn basic and universal film language and film grammar. They realize how their thought can be film image by producing their idea with free theme and form, and search their own expression style.
