About the reasons for administrator account lockout · You have set the administrator account to have a limit of 5 attempts before locking, which means that if the wrong password is entered 5 times in a row, the account will be locked automatically. Since you mentioned that the account was locked after just 1 attempt from RDP, this may be due to the fact that there have been several previous incorrect attempts that reached the lockout threshold. ...
